CTA Ltd, Macclesfield is located in Macclesfield town centre on major bus and train routes on the second floor of a newly modernised mill and offers information, advice and guidance to learners on Full Time Educational Training (FTET), Gateway to Work (GTW), Basic Employability Training (BET) and the Employability Skills Programme (ESP) training courses, in partnership with the Job Centre Plus and the LSC, to help unemployed people move into employment or further into work through training, work placements and qualifications (both occupational and academic skills for life related qualifications) across a variety of employment sectors (e.g. admin, warehouse, retail, hospitality and cleaning etc.).
Courses are available from 2 – 26 weeks, dependent upon individual requirements and needs, with a degree of flexibility around the hours of attendance to meet the needs of the learners’ home and personal circumstance. Training is individualised and tailored to specific needs with regular group and individual in –house sessions including CV, Interviews, Health and Safety, Equality & Diversity, Safeguarding, Motivation, benefits of working to give a small selection.
One day Work skills Assessments are also conducted in centre, or in JCP office if requested to identify and support literacy and numeracy skills levels to determine appropriate courses for the individual.
