CTA Ltd, Crewe is located in Crewe town centre and offers information, advice and guidance to learners on Full Time Educational Training (FTET), Gateway to Work (GTW) and the Employability Skills Programme (ESP) training courses, in partnership with the Job Centre Plus and the LSC, to help them gain the skills they need to move into employment across a variety of employment sectors (e.g. admin, warehouse, retail, hospitality and cleaning etc.).
Learners achieve qualifications (e.g. Literacy and Numeracy from Entry Level 1 to Level 2), produce CVs, and also improve their telephone and interview techniques during their time on course. CTA Ltd utilises partnerships with employers in the local area to enable learners to gain valuable work experience, specific to each learners’ individual needs, on voluntary work placements.
All the courses develop desirable work skills including confidence and motivation, team work, communication, presentation and employability skills through modular sessions designed to meet individual learner needs.
